Electrical engineering (ELE) department is responsible for the design of electrical power distribution, electrical control/protection/automation (PAC) and telecommunication systems that support processes and utilities within a plant. The ELE departments coordinates plant systems assuring that all electrical components and associated design conforms to Codes with Project specifications, especially with hazardous area classifications. ELE also provides support for other disciplines via special studies supporting selection and/or configuration of electrical components involved in their systems such as large motors, VFDs, transformers, STGs, GTGs, EDGs, electrical power system configuration, etc. All work performed by ELE ensures the designed facility operates effectively, efficiently, and safely without risk to the public.
ELE team engineers possess creative problem-solving skills together with experience in many different type of facilities. Combined with critical thinking skills and a high level of detail in their work, ELE team engineers produce first rate facility design every time and on schedule.
