The mechanical team is involved in all all mechanical engineering tasks for process and utility equipment during study, pre-feed, feed, and detail engineering phases. These activities include: cost estimation, equipment sizing, material selection, preparation of equipment datasheets, specifications, requisition for quotation and purchase, technical bid analysis, review and approval of vendor documents, code calculations, fabrication drawings for static equipment, and assisting in the inspection and testing of new and existing equipment.
